Managing Defects and Repair Categories

Adding a New Defect Category

Step 1: Navigate to Admin > Defect/Repair Categories section.

Step 2: Next click on +New Defect/Repair Category.

Step 3: Complete the 'Name' of the main category Field.

Step 4: Click Submit to create it.

Step 1: Navigate to Admin > Defect/Repair Categories section.

Step 2: Click on the Pencil Edit icon under Actions

Step 3: Add an additional Sub Category by clicking +New Sub Category.

Step 4: Click Submit to create.

Step 5: Note any existing Sub Categories can be amended by clicking the Category name and editing in the same way.

Use the Bin Icon Under Action at Category or Subcategory level and those headings will be removed:

When creating or editing a Defect Category or Sub Category there is an option to show or hide it on ticket creation.
