The Appointment SMS feature is an advanced feature. If you would like more information please speak with your Account Manager.
The clixifix® Appointment SMS feature gives you the option to send a text message when an appointment is booked. The recipient will also receive a reminder text 24 hours before the appointment and a notification text of any rescheduling or cancellation.

Sending An Appointment SMS
Step 1: When creating a Defect, enter a valid number in the Contact Number 1 field.

Step 2: Once your Defect is raised it will default to the Nominations tab, here you can add your appointment alongside your nomination, alternatively you can add your appointment later via the Appointment tab.
It will automatically select for SMS to be sent to the Defect contact, you can untick this if you do not wish to send the SMS.

When rescheduling or cancelling the appointment you can choose if the recipient is notified by text message. Simply untick the box next to 'Send SMS' if you do not want a text to be sent.

Audit Trail
Every SMS will be recorded within the Defect comments and within the SMS tab which will show date & time, message content and the recipients. You can use the Status Key to see if the message has sent and get more information on the recipient by clicking the phone icon.
